Cohn Bros. Victoria Brewery Bendigo Poster

$24.00$85.00

Cohn Brothers Brewery, established in 1858, became a public company on 17 November 1887, and the following year the aerated-water factory of John Wharton was purchased. The company took over the Bridgewater Brewery in 1893, and continued to expand through acquisitions of aerated-water and cordial factories, hotels, and wine-and-spirit outlets. In addition to the production of ale, lager and beer, they also made and sold ice, soft drinks and cordials, and a new non-intoxicating lager called Tonic Ale.

This poster is a celebration of the culmination of all of those events, efforts and acquisitions.
